About the Department of Electronic and Commnication
The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering was established with the inception of the university in 2008. Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education, training and research at the undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral level in various areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering with broad emphasis on design aspects of electronics and communication systems. The Department of ECE is one of the very pioneer departments in Mewar University.

Mission
The mission of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is to educate students to become responsible and productive engineers who can learn from experiences and utilizes their skill to face future challenges and work for betterment of organization, society and nation.
The department offers an engineering graduate program in Electronics and Communications Engineering. The Electronic and Communication Engineering program is interdisciplinary. Students in Electronics Engineering are given an opportunity to learn and extend their abilities to find out problem statements and analyze and design solutions and new uses of technology to serve today’s requirements. This engineering program provides an integrated educational experience directed toward the development of the ability to apply pertinent knowledge to the identification and solution of practical problems in electrical, electronic and telecommunications engineering. This program also insures that the design experience is developed and integrated throughout the curriculum in a sequential development leading to advanced work and includes both analytical and experimental studies.
The department, functions under the guidance of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors who are experts in their own disciplines, aims at educating and training students with sound knowledge and awareness in the latest trends in electronics, communication and information technology.
The faculty members and students of the department organize co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like workshops, seminars, technical and cultural events to ensure the all-round development of students and faculty members.
